Late Shri Tryambakrao Tuljaram Kulkarni went to Shrinath maharaj to seek blessings for building a small temple under an Oudumbar tree in memories of his wife. The temple place became sacred after Shrinath Maharaj visited the place.  The place is in possession of   Mahashabde brothers. Shri Nath maharaj then assured  him with blessings that there will be a   huge  temple. On 8-3-1942 the basement of the temple was constructed on the auspicious occasion of Shri Nathshashti, padukas of shri Dattatraya and Shri Nath were established with worship, by the hand of late Shri Devmaharaj. After Mahanirvana of Shri Nath, people brought his bones and sacred ashes  which were  afterwards collected and  kept under these padukas. In this way the importance of this sacred place can be valued. Continuous prosperity  of this  temple is a proof of permanent existence of Shri Nath. Various religious programs take place throughout the year.

Late Shri Tryambakrao established trust and handed over all the  responsibilities to the sincere group. The chief trusty Late Dadasaheb Kale devoted himself with body soul and health and made    the temple more prosperous. At present the chief of trust Shri Appasaheb Pujari and his coordinator enhance the tradition of Mahapuja and started programs in temple to create religious atmosphere and awareness among the people of society. Devotees response all the religious  programs  in large number; so this temple is being developed as Meditation centre among the society. Here, Gudipadwas, Shri Dattajayanti , Gurupournima and ShriNath shashthi, these festivals are celebrated enthusiastically and devotedly.
